What if I said the wrong thing?

I should have done xyz..

That social media post they just made was probably about me…

Do these statements sound familiar? Let me be the first to admit that I definitely do! From second-guessing my every move to constantly questioning the motives of others — I find myself overthinking everything. Seriously, I want things to be so perfect, that I end up sacrificing action and not doing anything. Ever been there?

However, I have found time to be an interesting thing. Why? Because it is constantly moving. Sometimes more quickly than we realize. You see, overthinking causes both indecision and inaction. I am sure you have probably looked at a date on the calendar, and could not believe that so many days, months, or even years had passed already.

But, do you want to know the most troubling thing I realized about time? That it will not wait for us!

I am a woman with big dreams. But, I used to be a woman simply with big dreams and no action. I guess you could say that I was waiting on the “perfect time” before I took any action.

I let opportunity after opportunity pass me because I was overthinking it all. Time kept moving and I looked up and years had gone bye! Finally, I woke up and got tired of saying someday and decided I was going to walk in my purpose TODAY.

Sound familiar? What dreams have you placed on hold because you were waiting on the “perfect time”?

You want to know something? It does not have to be that way. If there is one thing that I have learned, it is to just start moving! When we start moving, everything that we need will meet us on the journey!

In honor of our joint commitment to not allow overthinking to rob us of the things we want in life, I created a free workbook. In the workbook, you will find a list of ways to stop overthinking and align with purpose.

Time will keep moving. Are you going to take action? If you are ready to take action, comment below with one thing that you want to do!
